Biography
Elizabeth joined The Ammons Law Firm to help individuals and their families during the difficult aftermath of serious injuries. She applies strategic thinking, rigorous analysis, and creative problem-solving to achieve the best possible outcome for each client.
Since beginning her legal career, Elizabeth has represented clients in state and federal courts across Kentucky and Texas in a variety of cases. Her experience includes successfully obtaining multiple summary judgments in commercial and property disputes, affirming her client’s award of punitive damages on appeal, representing a major oil and gas company in complex litigation through to a favorable settlement, and representing a national lender in multiple bankruptcy disputes. Elizabeth has also secured her client’s release from imprisonment pending appeal on motion to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Elizabeth brings a unique analytical perspective to The Ammons Law Firm, having degrees in applied mathematics and education, as well as a previous teaching career. Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. During law school, she served on Law Review, competed on the National Moot Court Team, and received highest grade awards in multiple courses.
