Zach Wyatte is an experienced trial lawyer who started his legal career in Houston, where he represented large corporations in complex litigation involving corporate, maritime, and international trade matters. In joining The Ammons Law Firm, Zach redirected his passion for advocacy toward helping people who have suffered life-changing injuries. He cares deeply about his clients and works tirelessly to hold their wrongdoers accountable.

Zach received his B.S. in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in New York. Prior to earning his J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law, he served active duty as an officer in the United States Coast Guard, attaining the rank of Lieutenant. As a licensed merchant mariner, he has also garnered extensive experience serving aboard various types of commercial vessels around the world in the deck officer capacity.

During law school, Zach received the Dean’s Achievement Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution, served as an editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, actively participated in the Texas Law Pro Bono Program, and served as a member of the Robert W. Calvert American Inn of Court.

At The Ammons Law Firm, Zach primarily represents Plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, product defect and strict products liability, and wrongful death litigation.

    The Ammons Law Firm represented the adult children and spouse of a truck driver that died in a crash. After the completion of three days of pre-trial hearings, the defendants paid $9.75 Million to the adult children and widow.
