Ford Sued by Vehicle Defect Attorney Rob Ammons Following Fatal Crash

On behalf of the wife and children of an Arizona man killed in a crash, The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit against Ford. The 61 year old husband and father was a belted rear seat passenger in a 2013 Ford F150 pickup struck by an oncoming sedan which had suddenly crossed a highway's centerline. He sustained massive internal injuries that resulted in his death 20 days after the accident.

In the lawsuit, it is alleged that the F150 is defective because it is not crashworthy. Ammons claims the rear seat and its belts allow injurious occupant movement, including submarining under the belt, in collisions and that such movement invites injuries that are preventable in a crashworthy vehicle.
