Goodyear Tire & Rubber and Ford Sued For Fatal Rollover

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit against The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Ford Motor Company on behalf of the parents of a 23-year-old Texas man killed in a tragic rollover crash. The young man was a passenger in a 2000 Ford Ranger that experienced a tread separation of its left rear tire. The Ranger was sent into a sideways skid by the sudden tire failure and left the roadway where it then rolled over.

The tire that failed was a Road Hugger Performance Radial GT.

In the wrongful death lawsuit, Rob Ammons claims the tire was defectively designed and manufactured by Goodyear.
