Attorney Rob Ammons Files Lawsuit Against California Trucker and Ford after Collision on Texas Highway

A Texas man was seriously injured when the F350 he was driving ran into an 18-wheeler on a dark highway. Witnesses, as well as the injured man, told police the 18-wheeler had no taillights and could not be seen until it was too late.

Rob Ammons filed suit against the California trucker who owned the 18-wheeler and was operating it at the time of the collision. Ammons claimed the trucker was driving the rig on the highway at a dangerously slow speed and that because of its inoperable taillights, the vehicle was not roadworthy.

Ford was included in the lawsuit because the driver’s airbag in the F350 failed to deploy in this frontal collision, resulting in extra injury to the driver.
