The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit against Aramark on behalf of a 57-year-old Texas man who was seriously injured when his pickup was rear-ended by a commercial vehicle.
In the lawsuit, Rob Ammons claims Aramark’s driver was negligent and reckless in failing to control his speed, keep a proper lookout, timely apply his brakes or take evasive action to avoid the collision. The lawsuit also cites the company’s failure to properly hire and monitor its drivers as well as a failure to adequately train them on the safe operation of its fleet vehicles. The driver was on the job at the time of the collision, making Aramark legally responsible for his negligence.
“Companies have to be held accountable when their drivers needlessly place the motoring public in danger,” says Ammons.
