Ford and Cooper Tire Compensate Man Injured in Utah Rollover

The Ammons Law Firm has successfully concluded a products liability case brought by a 43-year-old man who broke his back when his 1999 Ford Explorer rolled over following a tread separation of its right rear Dominator Radial A/S tire.

Rob Ammons, who brought a lawsuit against Ford and Cooper Tire on behalf of the man, claimed that Ford had known prior to building the 1999 Explorer that this SUV handled poorly and was exceedingly difficult to control following failure of a rear tire.

Ammons also claimed that the Dominator Radial A/S tire was built by Cooper Tire and that components of the tire did not properly bond to each other during the manufacturing process.
