Negligent Trucker Sued after Running Red Light

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Texas family injured when an 18-wheeler ran a red light.

According to the police report, the family’s Grand Cherokee had already lawfully entered an intersection when the 18-wheeler’s driver disregarded a red light and collided with the SUV, seriously injuring a pregnant mother and her 1-year-old daughter. Rob Ammons claims the trucker, who was on the job at the time of the collision, was negligent and reckless in operating his rig and that his employer is also responsible for its driver’s negligence.

“Commercial drivers who disregard the safety of other motorists must be held to account for the harm they inflict,” says Ammons.

The Ammons Law Firm has a nationwide personal injury practice focusing on tire defects, truck accidents, rollovers, consumer protection and product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, post-collision fires, seat belt defects, airbag defects, and plant explosions.
