Rob Ammons Resolves Case Involving Continental ContiTrac SUV Tire for Victim of Alabama Rollover Crash

The Ammons Law Firm recently resolved a products liability case against Continental Tire and Ford Motor Company. The case involved the rollover of a 2005 Ford Expedition outfitted with ContiTrac SUV tires that were developed jointly by Ford and Continental Tire.

The rollover crash occurred when the tread on the ContiTrac SUV tire (which came with the vehicle as its original equipment spare on the Expedition) peeled away from the tire’s carcass, causing a rollover. A 36-year-old woman was seriously injured in the crash, suffering multiple fractures to her left leg, an Achilles tendon rupture, and a broken back. She incurred past medical expenses of $235,000 with future medical expenses projected to be $336,000.
