Product Defect Attorney Rob Ammons Files Lawsuit Against Car Seat Manufacturer Evenflo For Infant’s Internal Decapitation

Attorneys Rob Ammons and Adam Milasincic have filed a lawsuit against car seat manufacturer Evenflo after an infant boy suffered an internal decapitation in a crash. The lawsuit claims that defects in the rear-facing Evenflo Embrace 35 Infant Car Seat were responsible for the injuries suffered by the young boy.

The infant, who was properly restrained in the car seat, was seated in the middle seat of the back row of his father’s vehicle. There was a frontal impact collision in Gonzales County, Texas. During the collision, the car seat rotated downwards into the seat cushion of the vehicle, impacted the center console, and rebounded upwards into the vehicle’s seatback producing the infant’s injuries, including an internal decapitation.

It is alleged that the car seat failed to properly protect the infant in the collision due to the absence of an anti-rebound bar and a Load Leg, both safety features included on other Evenflo car seats.
