Ford Sued Following Rollover Crash Involving Defective F-250

The Ammons Law Firm have recently filed suit against Ford Motor Company in yet another case involving a defective Ford F-250. The firm represents the man who was seated as a front passenger in the truck when it was involved in a crash that occurred in Colorado County, Texas. Although the man was properly wearing his seatbelt, the lawsuit alleges that the F-250’s rollover protection system failed to safely secure him to his seat and protect him from the forces that occurred in the rollover crash.

At issue in the lawsuit is the F-250’s roof which severely collapsed into the occupant’s survival space resulting in the man suffering a traumatic brain injury as well as fractures to nearly every bone in his face. The lawsuit, filed by attorneys Rob Ammons and Adam Milasincic, alleges that the F-250 was uncrashworthy in its design and manufacture and that the roof lacked the necessary strength to maintain its integrity and preserve the occupant’s survival space. Further, the lawsuit claims that Ford was negligent in failing to properly test the F-250 for occupant protection performance in rollover crashes.

Due to the severity of the injuries suffered by the man, he will require medical treatment for the remainder of his life with future care costs valued at an estimated $6 million dollars.
