Oil Explosion

Rob Ammons and Justin Burrow Represent Oil Workers in Explosion Case

Three Texas oilfield workers were seriously injured when a vacuum truck erupted into flames at a petroleum site in Henderson County, Texas. The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the men burned and injured in the explosion.

Attorneys Rob Ammons and Justin Burrow claim that an oilfield operator failed to follow industry standards and guidelines in the placement of the open tank containing hydrocarbons near potential ignition sources and that it also failed to provide a safe workplace to perform workover services for their employees and other workers contracted to work at the petroleum site. Further, the lawsuit states the oilfield service company in charge of operating the vacuum truck failed to exercise reasonable care in their operation of the truck and that it was also negligent in its hiring, supervision, and training of the employee in charge of running the vacuum truck.

The Ammons Law Firm has a nationwide personal injury practice focusing on tire defects, truck accidents, rollovers, consumer protection and product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, post-collision fires, seatbelt defects, airbag defects, and plant explosions.
