Andra Smith killed in truck-pedestrian accident near Waco

WACO, Texas — Andra Smith, 27, was killed in a truck-pedestrian accident on August 12 after she was hit by a passing truck on U.S. Highway 77.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Smith was walking along U.S Highway 77 for unknown reasons when she was hit by a Ford F-250 traveling southbound.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash. An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
