ORANGE COUNTY, Texas- Two people are dead following a two-car crash on Highway 62 in Orange County, Texas.
According to authorities, a Kia passenger car was traveling southbound on Highway 62 when a Honda passenger car traveling northbound crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with the Kia. The Kia driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and the Honda driver was taken to a local medical center for treatment but ultimately succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
The cause of the lane departure was not immediately apparent. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further information was readily available.
