Thoughts on the fatal semi accident that claimed the life of Daniel Mullen
I am deeply sorry to learn of the deadly accident that claimed the life of Daniel Mullen. From the stated report, Mr. Mullen traveled on Rucker Road when a semi pulled in front of him. This is a tragic accident that never should have occurred.
The first step in determining the best path forward for the Mullen family is obtaining a copy of the accident report. The accident report will provide basic information about the accident, any contributing factors, and the parties involved. From there, we will need to look at the acts of the semi-driver. The report suggests the semi-driver engaged in blatantly negligent behavior. Such behavior was likely caused by distraction, fatigue, or impairment. If so, the Mullen family would need an accounting from the driver, the employer, and anyone else who facilitated the negligent acts.
Losing a loved one in an unexpected accident is devastating and difficult to understand. I pray those impacted here can find the peace they need to see themselves through this heart-wrenching time of grief.
