Alayna Yacoub was injured after a tire blowout led to a rollover accident

St. Louis, County – According to Missouri State Highway Patrol officers, Alayna Yacoub was injured in a rollover accident after her tire blew out.

Ms. Yacoub was traveling westbound on Interstate 44 East near Lewis Road when her 1993 UMC Aeromate Van suffered a rear-left tire blowout. The sudden tire failure caused the vehicle to run off the right side of the road before the driver overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Authorities released information regarding injuries in the crash. Ms. Yacoub sustained unspecified injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
