Man Dies in a Semi-truck Accident While Changing Tire on Interstate 44 in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri

Louis, MO – A man died after a semi-truck struck him while he was working on his vehicle. The incident happened Wednesday evening on Interstate 44 in downtown St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, the pedestrian was changing a flat tire on his Chevy HHR when the semi-truck hit him. The truck driver continued a short distance before pulling over a couple of miles down the road.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have not yet released the victim’s name or age, only confirming that he was an adult male.
