Motorcyclist Jeffrey Manthei Seriously Injured in an Accident with a Semi-truck on Highway 59


An accident between a motorcycle and a semi-truck left one man with critical injuries. The incident happened Monday afternoon at Highway 59 and 1st Street.

According to reports, a semi-truck traveling north on Highway 59 collided with a southbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the intersection.

The motorcyclist, 64-year-old Jeffrey Manthei, sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was wearing a helmet during the accident.
