One Person Dies in a Rollover Tire Accident on US Highway 87 in Musselshell County, Montana

Musselshell County, MT – A man died in a rollover accident following a tire blowout. The incident happened Friday afternoon on US Highway 87.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, an 84-year-old man was driving southbound in a Ford Galaxy when the right rear tire blew out. The vehicle then crossed the center line, left the roadway, rolled through a fence, and landed on its roof.

The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Montana Highway Patrol confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
