Honda Recalls Over 200,000 SUVs Due to Fuel Leak Fire Risk


Honda is recalling nearly 206,000 Passport and Pilot SUVs due to a potential safety issue with the fuel system. The recall affects the 2023-2024 Passport and 2023-2025 Pilot models.

According to the automaker, the fuel filler neck tube and pipe in these vehicles may separate, leading to a possible fuel leak. This defect increases the risk of fire and potential injury to vehicle occupants.

To address the issue, Honda dealerships will inspect and repair the affected components at no cost to owners. Honda plans to notify vehicle owners starting January 6, 2025.

For additional information, owners can contact Honda at 888-234-2138 using the recall designation “OKM.” They may also visit the NHTSA website to check their vehicle identification number for recall details.
