Jeep Vehicles Recalled Due to Safety Concerns


Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, recalled 2,135 Jeep Renegade vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2023. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), these vehicles may have been equipped with an incorrect bumper reverse light assembly.

The affected vehicles fail to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, which governs lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. The non-compliance with regulations could impact the visibility of the vehicles’ reverse lights, potentially posing safety risks.

Owners of impacted vehicles are encouraged to check for recall notices and schedule necessary repairs with their dealerships. Stellantis will notify owners directly and provide free corrective services.
