Victor Barrios Castillo Dies in a Workplace Accident in Giddings, Texas

Giddings, TX – A construction worker lost his life in a workplace accident at Tejas Camp and Retreat, located near Giddings. The incident happened Tuesday morning.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, emergency services were alerted after receiving a report of a worker falling from a roof at the retreat center. Upon arrival, responders found the individual unresponsive.

Preliminary reports revealed that the man, identified as 33-year-old Victor Barrios Castillo, had fallen while working on a roof.

The injuries sustained in the fall proved fatal.
