Kevin Ortiz Killed in Accident with Semi-truck on US Highway 84 in Lubbock County, Texas Crash


Lubbock, Texas — A man died when a semi-truck collided with his vehicle. The incident happened Friday morning on US Highway 84.

According to reports, a truck tractor pulling a semi-trailer was traveling south on US Highway 84 near County Road 1400 when it veered into the center median, crossed into the southbound lanes of US 84, and collided with Kevin Ortiz’s vehicle.

Ortiz died at the scene of the accident.

Road conditions were clear and dry.

No further details have been released.

The trucker needs to be held accountable for the innocent death of Mr. Ortiz

When a person loses their life in such a tragic manner through no fault of their own, their family deserves justice.
