One Person Dead After Accident with a Garbage Truck Near the Intersection of Illinois State Route 149 and Lockeyville Road in Hurst, Illinois


Hurst, Ill. – One person was killed in a crash involving a garbage truck and an SUV. The incident happened Saturday in Williamson County.

According to reports, a garbage truck was heading south on Illinois State Route 149 when it lost control and collided with an SUV traveling north on the same route.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional details have been provided.
