One Person Injured in a Rollover Accident at the Intersection of Hwy. 641 South and EW Miller Street in Hazel, Kentucky

Hazel, Ky. – One person was hurt and taken to the hospital after a rollover accident on Friday morning at the intersection of Hwy. 641 South and EW Miller Street.

According to reports, firefighters found the vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside and the roof caved in.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to cut through the roof and allow medical personnel to reach and treat the driver before extricating them from the vehicle.

The driver was initially taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to another medical facility for further treatment.

Roofs should not crash during a rollover accident
