Tommy Palmer Dies in a High-speed Accident with a Cement Truck on Highway 191 in Midland, Texas


Midland, TX – A man was killed on Highway 191 after a Peterbilt cement truck slammed into his vehicle. The incident happened Friday morning.

According to reports, Tommy Palmer stopped his vehicle on the highway when it was rear-ended by a Peterbilt cement truck. Witnesses stated the cement truck was traveling at a high speed when it collided with Palmer’s vehicle.

The reason why Palmer stopped his car on the highway remains unknown.

Palmer was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Thoughts on large trucks and rear-end collisions

There are many unanswered questions here. What caused the deceased to stop their vehicle suddenly? Why was the cement truck traveling at such a high speed? Surely that contributed to the truck being unable to stop in time. The deceased’s surviving family deserves answers and accountability from those who contributed to the loss of their loved one.
