One dead and One Injured in Accident with a Parked Semi-truck on Interstate 75 in Fort Myers, Florida  

Fort Myers, FL —  One woman was killed and another injured when the car they were in crashed with a parked semi-truck. The incident happened Friday morning on the Alico Road exit ramp on I-75 South.

According to reports, a gold Kia sedan with two female occupants was traveling southbound when it entered the shoulder and struck the rear left side of the semi-truck.

The passenger was killed, and the driver sustained minor injuries.

Semi-trucks should not use public roads as parking lots
