Seven People Injured in an Amazon Semi-truck Accident on Interstate 70 near Byers, Colorado


Denver, Colorado — An Amazon semi-truck collided head-on with an SUV, injuring seven people. The incident happened Monday shortly after 2:15 a.m. near the town of Byers.

According to reports, the semi-truck struck a guard rail and crossed into oncoming traffic. Both vehicles caught fire upon impact.

Emergency personnel transported the injured occupants to the hospital.

The semi-truck driver emerged uninjured.

No further details have been released.
