Cesar Anguinao-Guitron Dies After Uncontrolled Pressure Release at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Plant in Phoenix, Arizona

Phoenix, AZ –  Cesar Anguiano-Guitron died following an uncontrolled pressure release of a tank holding waste material. The incident happened Wednesday at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) plant.

According to reports, Anguiano-Guitron was transporting waste material from the site in his tractor-trailer when he was alerted to a potential issue with the tank storing the material under pressure. While inspecting the equipment, an uncontrolled pressure release occurred, striking Anguiano-Guitron with a blunt object and throwing him over 20 feet from the trailer.

He died from his injuries at the hospital.

TSMC is a leading producer of advanced microchips globally and plans to expand its production capabilities in the U.S.

Uncontrolled pressure release indicates faulty products or workplace safety standards

What caused this accident at this manufacturing plant? This is an important question that the deceased’s surviving family deserves to know. Most workplace deaths are entirely preventable when proper safety protocols are in place. For instance, were regular inspections of the tank conducted to ensure everything was functioning correctly? Was Mr. Anguinao-Guitron adequately trained on safety hazards? Was the trailer defective? Answers to these questions can reveal whether any wrongdoing or negligence took place.

Surviving families suffer when they lose a loved one in a work accident. These families not only have to deal with the heartbreak of losing their loved one, but they also must suffer through financial losses they depend on to survive. This is unfair and unjust. If an investigation reveals wrongdoing by a manufacturer, contractor, or employer, the family deserves justice and compensation for their loss.

I hope all details will come to light and the surviving family will receive the answers and justice they deserve.
