Non-life-threatening Injuries in a Rollover Accident Caused by a Tire Blowout on Interstate 41 South near Highway 60 in Slinger, Wisconsin

Slinger, Wis.– A service truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries when the truck’s front tire had a blowout. The incident happened Monday afternoon on Interstate 41 South near Highway 60.

According to reports, authorities discovered the truck overturned about 100 feet off the highway and lodged into a wooded ditch line, with the driver trapped inside. Firefighters extricated the driver and transported them to a local hospital.

No further details have been provided.

Front tires should not fail. When they do, it may be due to a manufacturing defect

When a truck’s tire suddenly bursts, many might think it’s just bad luck or a problem with maintenance. Some might even think nobody’s at fault for the tire blowing out. However, there are cases where tire manufacturers produce defective tires that fail simply because they are bad tires. When this happens, those injured in the crash should be compensated for the manufacturer’s mistakes.

The tire in this crash will need to be inspected by trained professionals to determine exactly why it failed. If defects are determined to be the cause, the manufacturer should be held responsible.
