Investigation Needed into Semi-Truck Collision That Left Driver Seriously Injured

When a semi-truck collides with a passenger vehicle, the outcome is often devastating for the occupants of the smaller vehicle. This crash on Highway 75 raises serious concerns about what led to this collision and who bears responsibility for the driver’s serious injuries.

According to one study, in two-vehicle crashes between trucks and passenger vehicles, truck drivers were found to be at fault in 44% of cases. Common factors often include driver fatigue, distraction, or traveling too fast for conditions. These types of accidents are preventable when truck drivers and their employers follow proper safety protocols.

The circumstances of this crash demand a thorough investigation by trained professionals to determine if proper safety procedures were followed and to hold any negligent parties accountable. Only through careful examination of driver logs, maintenance records, and other evidence can we ensure justice is served and help prevent similar incidents in the future.

The injured driver may face a long road to recovery, including mounting medical bills and lost wages while unable to work. If the investigation reveals the truck driver or trucking company was negligent, the victim deserves fair compensation to help rebuild their life.
