Swanton, OH – A head-on collision involving two semi-trucks on the Ohio Turnpike resulted in two fatalities Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The passenger in the westbound truck, identified as Wilson Jeune, 59, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was pronounced dead at the scene. Ronald Dempsey, 46, of Savannah, Georgia, the driver of the eastbound semi, was airlifted to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
