Four Hospitalized After Chemical Exposure at Formosa Plastics  in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Baton Rouge, La. – Four individuals were hospitalized following an ammonia exposure incident at a Baton Rouge chemical plant on Tuesday night. The exposure occurred at Formosa Plastics when a malfunction involving a compromised cylinder released the chemical.

The Baton Rouge Fire Department confirmed that two individuals are in critical condition, while the other two are reported to be in serious but stable condition.
