Truck Accident Lawyers File Lawsuit Against Multiple Defendants After Fatal Texas Semi-Truck Crash

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit against several defendants, including Bee Fast Transport LLC, Oldcastle Lawn and Garden, Inc., Oldcastle APG, Inc., and Slaughter Trucking, LLC, in connection with a truck accident that resulted in multiple fatalities. The incident occurred on Interstate 45 near Buffalo, Texas, when a passenger vehicle collided with an abandoned tractor-trailer, leading to the tragic loss of several lives.

According to the lawsuit, a Kenworth tractor owned or leased by one or more of the defendants was left unattended on the side of Interstate 45 for several hours prior to the collision. The abandoned vehicle allegedly created a hazardous situation that ultimately led to the fatal crash.

The Ammons Law Firm is pursuing various legal theories against the defendants, including negligence, gross negligence, and respondeat superior. The lawsuit alleges that the defendants failed in their duty to ensure safe transportation practices and proper maintenance of their vehicles.

Slaughter Trucking, LLC is accused of allegedly failing to properly investigate and monitor the safety records of the motor carriers they contracted with for freight transportation. The lawsuit contends that these alleged failures contributed to the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
