Dilean and Shakesha Desence Killed and One Injured in a Crash with a Tow Truck in St. Petersburg, Florida


St. Petersburg, Fla. — An accident involving a tow truck and an SUV has left two adults dead and one other person in critical condition. The incident happened on Tuesday evening at 5th Avenue South and 22nd Street South.

According to authorities, 72-year-old Dilean Desence, a passenger in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV’s driver, 35-year-old Shakesha Desence, was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

One other person is in the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities have not yet released further information.
