Alexiya Payne Killed, and Three Others Injured in an Accident with a Slow-Moving Semi-truck on Interstate 75 in Dayton, Ohio

Dayton, OH – A 21-year-old woman lost her life Monday night after the car she was riding collided with a semi-truck traveling at a slow speed on I-75 North.

The supervisor of the Traffic Services Unit reported that the semi was moving at an estimated speed of less than 5 mph with its hazard lights on when it was rear-ended by a car traveling at highway speeds.

Alexiya Payne was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the car and two others were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
