Man Hospitalized After Truck Accident at Chiquita Canyon Landfill in Castaic, California


Castaic, Calif. – A man was injured when the semi-truck carrying leachate that he was driving overturned. The workplace accident happened at the Chiquita Canyon Landfill on Sunday morning.

According to reports, the driver, a male, was pinned under the truck by his legs. Emergency crews successfully extricated him, and he was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment.

No updates on his condition have been released.
