Dump Truck Driver Seriously Injured in an Accident with a Semi-truck that Failed to Yield in Erie County, Milan Township, Ohio

Milan Township, OH — A dump truck driver was seriously injured and had to be extricated and hospitalized after a collision with a Mack truck. The incident happened Friday afternoon in Erie County at the intersection of Mason and Hoover Roads.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a man driving a Mack truck failed to yield. The truck was struck by a Volvo dump truck driven by a 26-year-old man traveling east on Mason Road.

The impact caused the dump truck to overturn and strike a utility pole.
