One Person Injured and Airlifted to Hospital After an Industrial Accident at Lion Elastomers in Port Neches, Texas

Port Neches, TX —  A worker at Lion Elastomers in Port Neches was airlifted to a hospital following an industrial accident. The incident occurred Sunday around 11:30 a.m. at the company’s facility located at 1615 Main Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that the employee, a woman, sustained leg injuries and was trapped in the accident. Emergency responders worked to free the employee before she was transported to a hospital via medical helicopter. The extent of her injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
