Person Struck by Dump Truck While Mowing Lawn on State Highway 83 near 126th Place in Kenosha County, Wisconsin


Kenosha, Wis. – A person sustained serious injuries after being hit by a dump truck while mowing their lawn. The incident happened Friday morning in Trevor on State Highway 83 near 126th Place.

The injured individual was airlifted to a nearby hospital by Flight for Life. According to officials, the injuries are serious but not expected to be life-threatening.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department suspects a truck equipment malfunction may have caused the crash.

No additional details have been released.
