Three Dead and two Critically Injured in an Accident with a Semi-truck on Interstate 10 Near Arizona-New Mexico Border

SAN SIMON, Ariz. —  A crash on westbound Interstate 10 near the Arizona-New Mexico border claimed the lives of three people and left two others critically injured. The crash occurred on Saturday evening around 5 p.m. The collision involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle, resulting in the tractor-trailer catching fire.

DPS confirmed that the three victims, who died at the scene, were inside the passenger vehicle. Two additional occupants of the vehicle were critically injured and transported for emergency medical care.

No additional details have been released.
