Construction Worker Injured in Roof Accident in Neshannock Township, Pennsylvania


NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A construction worker was injured Friday after falling through the roof of a banquet center in Neshannock Township.

The incident occurred at a facility in the 3000 block of Wilmington Road in New Castle. According to local authorities, the 23-year-old man from Mercer had been working on roof repairs related to recent wind damage when he fell through the structure and into the building.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the injured worker was transported to a hospital in Youngstown for treatment. The facility’s project manager confirmed the hospitalization but did not have details on the severity of the injuries.
