Jonas C has announced a recall of its Long-Haul 5L portable ATV fuel containers, sold exclusively on Amazon.com, due to multiple safety risks, including potential fire, burn, and poisoning hazards. The recall follows findings that the containers do not meet federal child-resistant closure requirements set under the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act.

The product’s closure system fails to prevent access by children, posing a serious risk of injury or death due to accidental exposure or ignition of gasoline.

The recalled fuel containers are black and feature the markings “LONG-HAUL,” “TZYC,” “PATENT PENDING,” along with standard fuel container safety warnings. Each unit comes with multiple spout components.
