WASHINGTON – Casely has issued a recall for its 5000mAh portable wireless power banks due to a potential safety hazard. The company announced that the lithium-ion batteries in the devices can overheat, creating a risk of fire and burns.

The recall applies to Casely Power Pods, a compact MagSafe-compatible wireless charger identified by model E33A. The model number is printed on the back of the unit, while the brand name “Casely” appears on the front plate.

These pocket-sized chargers, measuring approximately 3 inches by 2 inches and weighing just over 3 ounces, were sold in multiple colors and patterns. They are designed to work with a range of devices.
