Five Below Recalls Room2Room LED Bear Lights Due to Fire and Burn Hazards


Five Below is recalling its Room2Room LED Iridescent Bear Lights following multiple reports of the product’s USB power switch overheating and melting, posing serious fire and burn risks.

The recall affects lights identified as model number “LD-0030.” The decorative bear-shaped light measures approximately 7.5 inches in height and 9.3 inches in width and is powered by a USB cord featuring an on/off switch. A sticker on the bottom of the product includes the brand name “Room 2 Room,” the model number, and the product name “LED Iridescent Bear Light.” The packaging also displays the UPC 1922340368444.

The company has received 28 incident reports involving the USB cord overheating and melting. Six of those reports included consumers sustaining finger burns.
