General Motors Recalls Over 90,000 Vehicles Due to Transmission Safety Concern


General Motors has issued a recall affecting more than 90,000 Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles due to a potential transmission defect.

The issue stems from a potential internal transmission defect that may result in the front wheels locking while the vehicle is in motion, posing a heightened risk of a crash.

According to documents posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website on March 6, the recall covers 90,081 vehicles.

The affected models include certain 2019-2020 Cadillac CT6, 2020-2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5, as well as 2020-2022 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with a 10-speed transmission.
