HONEYJOY Recalls Multiple Infant High Chair Models Sold on Amazon Due to Suffocation Hazard and Federal Safety Violations


HONEYJOY has issued a nationwide recall of several convertible and foldable high chair models sold exclusively on Amazon.com due to a risk of suffocation. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that the recalled products violate the agency’s Infant Sleep Products Rule and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

The high chairs were marketed for infant sleep and feature an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, which increases the risk of suffocation. These design features are prohibited under federal safety regulations intended to prevent sleep-related deaths in infants.
