Man Killed in an Accident with a Semi-truck on Interstate 80 in Vacaville, California

VACAVILLE, Calif. — A man was killed Tuesday morning in a collision involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 80 in Vacaville. The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes near Leisure Town Road.

Authorities said a Mazda was stopped in a traffic lane for unknown reasons when a semi-truck struck it.

The driver of the Mazda, identified as a 58-year-old man from Stockton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
