Marvin Kent Killed in a Head-On Accident with a Semi-truck on Highway 28 in McCormick County, South Carolina


MCCORMICK COUNTY, S.C. – A fatal collision involving a passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler claimed the life of an Augusta man on Thursday morning in McCormick County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that Kent was traveling north on Highway 28 in a 1997 Honda sedan when his vehicle and a southbound semi-truck collided head-on.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but Kent succumbed to his injuries.

No further information is currently available.
