Person Killed by Concrete Barrier in an Industrial Site Accident in Commerce, California

Commerce, CA – A worker was killed in an industrial accident in Commerce Saturday morning. Authorities reported that the incident occurred when the worker was crushed by a concrete barrier.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the Strategic Materials, Inc. site on Bandini Boulevard following reports of a man trapped beneath a tractor.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cal/OSHA has been notified.
